8/8/08 - Rockport, Washington

We used this day to travel, really didn’t see very much. We took the ferry from Port Townsend to Keystone on Whidby Island. This was much shorter than going back via Tacoma and Seattle. On Whidby Island we went to Ebey’s Landing National Historic Reserve. We stopped at a brewpub outside Concrete, Washington and it was baaaad. Jim said it tasted like bad homebrew. Then drove on to our very shabby RV park in Rockport, Wa., where we spent some time doing laundry and taking a shower. We had been in the national park for with no hookups and the restrooms did not have showers or hot water. We had been taking sponge baths in the very small sink in the Casita bathroom. Jim had been shaving and washing his hair in the Casita kitchen sink.

Hi Ya'll,

We love hearing about your exciting adventures. In fact, we look at your blog every day to make sure we don't miss anything except your company.

When do you plan (?) to be in Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks?

We did not pay $60 per person to attend the High Tea at the Empress Hotel in Victoria. If I remember accurately, it was around $30 per person.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Love Ya,

Lorna and David
