8/10/08 - Kalispell, Montana

Today was a travel day to get as close to Glacier National Park as we could. We drove 296 miles. We left Kettle Falls, Wa., and drove through the panhandle of Idaho. We arrived at Kalispell, Montana around 8 pm and went to Wal Mart. We spent the night in their parking lot. It is cool so no need for air conditioning. We spent a lot of time today trying to get the pictures downloaded into the blog. Jim finally was successful tonight. He used an inverter to power the laptop from the 12 volt outlet in the trailer and he used his cell phone to connect to the internet. We probably won’t have internet access for a few days while we are in the park.
Happy Birthday Beverly!!
